I am a data and analytics engineering leader with more than 15 years of experience gained across pharmaceuticals, government, IT service provision and research.

I lead a team of Data & Analytics Engineers who support the AstraZeneca Enabling Units, which cover Finance, Global Business Services, HR, Legal, Compliance and Global Portfolio & Product Strategy.

My team of senior engineers provides technical leadership and end-to-end delivery of data & analytics products to approximately 100 engineers, business analysts and data analysts. We are a cloud first team with a heavy focus on building enterprise wide scalable solutions.

My role involves close collaboration with Solution Architects and Information Architects. In 2019 we will be testing new ways of working to bring elements of cloud solution design and architecture into the engineering team, with the aim of accelerating agility and innovation.

I have a passion for technology and enjoy software development, so make time to do some development work.

The work I do is exciting because we are using the latest tech to solve interesting data problems for a global company with a great mission.
